SACRAMENTO
– The Correctional Workers Who Care presents the first Black Infant Health Power Soul Stroll for Health. Come join us for our 5K Walk/Run event for a day of fun!

The walk will promote community wellness and health and bring attention to the issue of infant mortality in the African American community and a chance for those in the community to get connected with valuable resources. There will be exercise demonstrations and a variety of vendors available with valuable information.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 9:00am to 11:00am at William Land Park. Free parking is available at Sac City College. Registration is $15 per person. Pre-register online at www.cwwc.info by June 10, 2012 for a chance to win great prizes. The deadline to pre-register online is June 10, 2012, after which, the registration fee is $20 cash-only the day of the event or on Friday at the Juneteenth Gospel concert.
Pre- registrants can pick up their t-shirt and check in for the walk at the Juneteenth Gospel concert on Friday, June 15th from 7 pm to 9:30 pm at the William Land Park Amphitheatre.

After the event, please join Sacramento’s Juneteenth Festival on the other side of the park. There will be a parade, food vendors, a talent show, and more!
