Sacramento, CA – Sacramento County has already experienced 5 near-drownings and drownings this season, and the summer season has just begun.  According to Safe Kids USA, drowning is the leading cause of accidental death among children ages 1 to 4.  Sacramento County Public Health Officer Dr. Olivia Kasirye will discuss the steps parents and caregivers can take to prevent such accidents.
