Community Partner Meeting


 

On Thursday, January 10, 2013 Sacramento County Child Protective Services (CPS) held a meeting with community partners to review the most recent data on outcome indicators and highlight 2012 activities as well as priorities for 2013. Melissa Correia, from Casey Family Programs, presented an overview of the most relevant performance indicators and provided comparisons between Sacramento’s performance and the state as a whole. CPS Division Managers, Kim Pearson, Luis Villa and Pat Mangan, summarized key practice improvements implemented to streamline services, engage families and optimize outcomes. In addition, Michelle Callejas, CPS Deputy Director and Dr. Sherri Heller, DHHS Director, addressed the audience and provided a framework for the presentation.

Feedback from participates indicates the information provided was well received and pertinent. Participants expressed interest in supporting CPS’s goals and increasing partnerships to meet the needs of children and families in the County. A total of 51 community partners attended.
